Privacy — 9 of Diamonds Game

This Privacy Policy explains how 9 of Diamonds ("the App," "we," "us") handles your information. We've written this to be clear and short — not buried in legalese.

    Short version: We don't collect personal information, we don't sell data, and we don't use advertising networks. Your game data stays on your device.
  

1. Information We Collect

The App collects only the minimum required to function:

Fan profile name / screen name — stored locally on your device only.
Game history and scores — stored locally on your device only.
Multiplayer room data — when you use "Play Together," your screen name and game state are temporarily stored on our servers to power the live multiplayer feature. This data is automatically deleted when the game room ends.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

Real names, email addresses, or phone numbers
Financial or payment information
Location data
Device contacts
Advertising identifiers

3. How We Use Information

The limited data we handle is used solely to:

Display your profile within the App
Enable real-time multiplayer game sessions
Maintain your local game history and leaderboard

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses Supabase for multiplayer infrastructure. Supabase processes temporary game session data as described above. We do not use advertising SDKs, analytics platforms, or social media tracking pixels.

MLB schedule data is fetched from public sports data APIs for display purposes only. No personal data is shared with these services.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

6. Data Retention

Local data remains on your device until you delete the App. Multiplayer session data on our servers is deleted automatically when a game room closes. We retain no identifiable data after a session ends.

7. Children's Privacy

This App is not directed at children under the age of 17 and does not knowingly collect information from minors. The App includes an age verification screen on first launch.

8. Your Choices

Delete all local data: Uninstall the App from your device.
Notifications: You can disable game-day notifications in your iPhone's Settings → Notifications → 9 of Diamonds.

9. Security

Multiplayer session data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Local data is stored using iOS standard encrypted device storage.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
